Cassette 5A

In Cassette 5A the reader gets to know why Clay is on the tapes.
Clay Jensen an Hannah Baker meet at a party where they do a long conversation about anything and everything. Later Clay kisses Hannah, but she pushes him away and run away.
Hannah explains in the tapes that Clay is not a reason for her suicide. He is on the list, because Hannah wants to explain him the situation. She stops kissing him, because she remembers that everytime she starts to trust a person, the person hurts her. She made this tape to apologize him.

Courtney Crimsen

Hey, guys.
I want to tell you something about Courtney and what she has done to upset Hannah.

Courtney is the fifth person on Hannah's list.
Courtney Crimsen is known as a perfect girl. She is beautiful, helpful and nice to everyone.
She helps Hannah when she finds out that someone takes picture from her in her own house.
Courtney is very nice to Hannah and they spend a lot of time together, so Hannah really thinks they become friends, but Courtney is just another person who disappoints her. She just wants to aufpolieren her image.
One day, Hannah and Courtney go to a party. At this party she tells everybody that Hannah has a lot of sex toys. Courtney is very egoistic. She wants everybody to like her and she does not care if she hurts the feelings of other persons. All that she cares about is her own image.

I can understand why Hannah feels hurt by Courtney. It's hard when someone spread rumors about you but it is harder get disappointed by a person you like.

Tyler Down

Hey, everybody!
I want to talk about the second Chapter Side B.

Chapter 2:Side B is about the forth person on Hannah Baker's list. It's Tyler Down.
One week Hannah's parents are not at home, so Hannah is alone. She is in her bedroom, when she hear a camera clicking. Tyler makes photos of her. She is not sure if that is imagination, but she decides not to take her clothes off.
The next day she tells a girl what happened and after school they hang out in Hannah's house. The boy takes pictures again. First Hannah do not know that Tyler is the stalker, but then she finds it out. She never feels safe in her house again.

I think it is very stupid from Tyler to take pictures, because everyone has the right for privaticy and nobody is allowed to take this and there is no excuse to do this. Anyway the idea that someone is watching you is very creepy. I can't understand how people can do something like that. That is abnormal and strange he really needs psychological assistance. I can understand that Hannah feels bad and don't feel safe in her home, I would feel the same. If I were on Hannah's position I would call the police or talk with his parents or something like that.

Cassette 2 side A:Jessica Davis

Hey, everyone!
I want to tell you something about Jessica Davis.

Jessica Davis is the third person on Hannah's list.
She is a funny, outgoing and honest girl and she is not angry to say what she is thinking. 
Hannah and Jessica meet at a new-student orientation. After that meeting they hang out and so they become friends.
Jessica is jealous of Hannah, because Alex creates a ''Who's hot/Who's not''-list and puts her name on the not side of the list but he puts Hannah's name on the hot-list. He wants to hurt her. That is also the reason why he spread about him and Hannah. Jessica is very angry and do not want to be Hannah's friend anymore.

I cannot understand, why Jessica belive the rumors, because they are friends and friends trust each other. Even when Hannah tries to explain her, that the rumors are not the truth, Jessica don't believe her.
It's a pity that a friendship breaks up because of a rumor that someone spread. I think that Jessica has not the right to be angry of Hannah, because she do nothing wrong.

Hannah's second reason

Hey guys,
this is my first post about the novel 'Thirteen Reasons Why'.
I want to tell you something about Cassette 1B.

The Cassette 1 side b deals with the second reason why Hannah commits suicide.
Hannah's classmate Alex Standel creates a 'hot-or-not' list and he nominates her for the hottest ass in their class. The list goes across the school.
When Hannah goes to Blue Spot Liquers a boy touches her ass.

I can understand why Hannah, because she do not want to be reduced of her apperance.
I think she could handle this without killing herself. Maybe she could ask someone for help.
